<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Yesterday was Donna's Loon Count Day at Keji and a <br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">great day it was. I was lucky to be with Fritz on the lake.<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">nothing like a good strong young fellow in the canoe<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">when you get old!<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">The day was perfect - A nice temperature, cloudy with some<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">misty showers and a little wind. It couldn't be better for canoeing.<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Loons were on display also. There were 9 loons in our  lake - east<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">end of Peskowesk - of the 9 there was a chick and 8 adults.<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Of the adults, 2 were parents of the chick and 6 were non-breeding adults.</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">I think they are 3 - 5 years old before nesting.</span>
