  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hi All</span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">This morning I took the canoe over to Church Lake Landing<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">for a paddle. It was cloudy and calm at the time. It looked<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">like it would clear and we would have a souwest wind when it did.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">So we bore of souwest to the islands out in the lake. There are 5 or 6 small<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">islands on a rocky outcrop. Not many visitors do they get but the<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">lake level goes down in the summer exposing some sandy/muddy<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">shore lines.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Here is where the flowers grow. A nice crop of Meadow-Beauty in flower.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">I think it is Virginia MB Rhexia virginica but I&#39;m no expert!<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mixed in is Yellow eyed grass. A pretty little tri petaled flower. No idea<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">of the species. Other goodies there also along with some pickerel weed<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">and Sundews.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">An Otter or otters seem to use the island for a picnic table. Lots of<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">mussel shells around and the bones and other parts of a large fish.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Didn&#39;t smell to good but not to worry - the flies were taking advantage.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">On the way back the wind was just right and I sailed along. Only needed<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">a stroke now and then to keep the direction! We sailed through a bed of Water Lilies<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">- Monet would have been impressed. In the open spots Purple Bladderwort was<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">in flower. Not very spectular but very beautiful. It seems to have a short season<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">so not seen very often.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">A great paddle - talking of great paddles - Sunday is Donnas Loon Count<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">at Keji. A great day and in the morning she gives a splendid presentation about<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">the program. Worth the drive just for the info.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enjoy the summer<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Paul<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">&#160;</span>
  </div>

</body></html>
