Dear All,
Had a fire on last evening; June 25 ! We never had a fire in June=20
until after Alison became an invalid and no later than about June 15 th=20
after. Strange weather.
The previously vigorous and large wild bee colony near the east end=20
of Brooklyn St. (sandy & south facing) seemed to have survived the=20
winter but after that appearance of exit holes there has been no=20
activity. Also a wild bee colony with 10-15 active holes on the south=20
facing slope of the road going up to the old Kentville school site past=20
maintenance shed now is entirely inactive. I think I saw activity there=20
after the freeze of June 3/4 but have no record. Possible cause: not=20
enough warm weather to permit feeding and gradual failure.

Yt, DW Kentville
