Hi All,
Further on cold injury; by mid afternoon on June 5, Beech leaves=20
from ground level to beyond head height had appreciable brownish patches=20
in that Beech grove at about the highest point of Beech Hill road. I am=20
sure they will shrug it off.
Today along the east end of Brooklyn St. Five-fingered Ivy damage=20
ranged from crisp brown to unaffected and just east of where the rail=20
bed crosses the road a fairly large patch of Spreading Dogbane was=20
noticeably browned. With its extensive rhizome system and deep rooting=20
it will barely notice the inconvenience. Several small patches of=20
Japanese Knotweed also had slight damage.
