Nancy, I hadn't seen it before. It was hungry but not as aggressive as I
expect the males to be and held off from the feeders for a bit. I've been
specifically looking for Purple finches, females and the next generations.
This bird is definitely a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. They are irregular
regular, if that makes sense. I see no colour morph suggesting male so I am
calling it a female. There is so much I do not know about birds. Marg

Hi Marg

If you confirm that you have a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak please let me
know. There were a few overwintering reports on eBird for Lun Co. And you
might know if this one had stayed in your area or was a new Spring arrival?

Thanks, Nancy
