I first thought (a my goodness, was that a...?) I saw one this year on =
Sunday. Yesterday for sure. I=E2=80=99ve long said there ones that show =
up considerably earlier (and much later) than most expect and have been =
assured I am a nut case.=20
No matter.=20
I usually put one feeder out 15 of March. Somewhere I have a photo I =
took of a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in the grapevine and was very surprised =
when a friend pointed out the hummingbird on the feeder in the wind and =
snow in the background. That was the first year I had a digital camera, =
a point and shoot, which is what I have now. I post what I see.=20
Last year I saw an unusual one and posted about it. It was a bad photo =
of the wrong bird that probably discredited me. I will continue to post =
and if I get photos I will share them.=20
........................................................................
Wow! When did you first see it? Another person in Pic. Co mentioned =
she=E2=80=99d thought one had zoomed by. I think everyone =
must=E2=80=99ve been uncertain about reporting for fear of being =
considered a nutcase.=20
