I obtained information for the great egret that I reported earlier today wh=
ile on my lunch break at work. I was at Tim Horton's when Dawn and Bill Te=
al honked the horn to get my attention. They then told me about an egret t=
hat had been seen and photographed by someone named Paul at Crescent Beach,=
Lunenburg Co. this morning. I was then shown a group of superb photos of =
the bird close up and then in flight. It was a great egret complete with b=
reeding plumes and the long yellow bill. I suspect that the photographer o=
n the basis of the photos that I saw likely chased the bird off in obtainin=
g those photos as the bird was not present this evening when I checked. Th=
e western willet was there though.

I then received an email for a cattle egret by Greg Amos with the descripti=
on of a common egret in full breeding plumage at Rose Bay in the marsh acro=
ss from the old post office. This location is not where I would expect to =
see a cattle egret, so I'm guessing this is where the great egret went to.
