Something small, with wingbars, appeared in the morning semidarkness in our
quince bush on Wyman Road day before yesterday. Unfortunately, didn't hang
around long enough to see whether it was a redpoll or a goldfinch.

Fingers crossed!

Subject: [NatureNS] Common Redpolls

Hotmail continues to work poorly with upgrades and their new beta. Anyhow,
Charles Berry of Bridgewater had two common redpolls on Saturday January 20.
Charles lives across from the old Bridgewater arena. These birds only
stayed around for the one day and have not returned. This is a rare bird
around here this year. They are the first two that I've had reported.
