Hi James,

Did you get much freezing rain there last week? A good coating of ice might
have driven these birds from natural habitats to feeders.

Hi all:

 

Besides the arrival of tons of dark-eyed juncos, fox sparrows also seem to
have arrived.  Marjorie & Gerald Zwicker of Auburndale have one and they
sent me a photo.  I've had other reports as well and I had one show up at my
feeders today.  I've got long distance photos for the record.
