The bird had managed to get washed up on the beach= in fairly heavy surf and could not take off. It appeared quite healthy and= very aggressive but would have been killed by the bobcats that roam the be= ach at night. We wrapped it in a large towel and released it in the Indian = River =C2=A0behind our development on North Hutchinson Island. We have done= this before and it works well for the birds.
