The regular January Meeting of the Blomidon Naturalists Society will take p=
lace on Monday, January 15 at 7:30 PM in Room BAC241 of the Beveridge Arts =
Centre, Acadia University, Wolfville.

The meeting is open to the public.

The main presentation will be:

Sable Island by Dan Kehler

Come learn about the mysterious and magical Sable Island, a place that has =
captured the imagination of Nova Scotians and the world for centuries.   Th=
is presentation will provide an overview of everything related to Sable Isl=
and, from its glacial origins, history of human settlement, to its current =
management as a National Park Reserve and then focus on its unique ecologic=
al features, including the largest breeding colony of grey seals, and the S=
able Island ponies.

Dan Kehler, a native Wolfvillian, is currently the park ecologist for Sable=
 Island National Park Reserve.
