Observations like this, Nancy, point to one reason why this network is important.

You never know what sort of questions are going to get raised, or the extent to which existing uncertainty can be narrowed!

 Now that you mention it, the place where the Bobcat crossed is a spot where there are almost always Mourning Doves picking in the gravel on the road in front of some mailboxes. Perhaps the increasing  presence of MODOs in almost every habitat reflects the Bobcats' wider distribution?
