Will someone be filming or taping this presentation? It will be invaluable to have on record for consultation. I am trying to develop a "how-to" piece on letting your lawn grow wild as many people want to do this but don't know how to begin or when to cut or mow - perhaps once a year or once every two years? etc. etc. And, as Mary says, we need a "new aesthetic". Perhaps you can live-stream it on Facebook tonight? Let me know and I will watch it. Thanks, Nancy Robinson Environmentally Yours Bear River, N.S. 514-605-7186 On Mon, Sep 25, 2017 at 4:30 PM, Mary Macaulay <marymacaulay@hotmail.com> wrote: > There will be some discussion of this important issue this evening at the > Nova Scotia Wild Flora talk at the museum of Natural History in Halifax at > 7:30 pm: > > *Building a functional mini-meadow without shocking the neighbours (too > much).. * > Mary Macaulay wants to be pollinator-friendly and will tell us how she is > doing it.
