Painted Ladies are becoming quite numerous, here in Waverley anyway. This morning there were over a dozen in our neighbour's garden, both on her Buddleia and also her Echinacea. We also saw many on various roadside flowers (especially a small aster) and just flying around energetically. We haven't seen any American Ladies or Red Admirals for some time. --- Peter Payzant
