  <div>
   Hi All - yesterday was a canoe day. Spent the day on the river.
  </div>
  <div>
   Windy by time with some lively gusts made it fun.
  </div>
  <div>
   About 8 pm as we were preparing to go ashore several bats appeared
  </div>
  <div>
   hawking insects over the river. A few years since I saw them. I saw 2 several
  </div>
  <div>
   times but they were flying in and out of sight it was hard to tell the exact count.
  </div>
  <div>
   There is an old rule that &#34;Fish bite best when the bats are flying about&#34; and
  </div>
  <div>
   it was true last evening. Nothing like sending a sport home who has
  </div>
  <div>
   caught a good fish with the last cast!
  </div>
  <div>
   Enjoy the last of summer
  </div>
