Interesting as always. One thing I see in this data that has me puzzled is =
the 57 Solitary Sandpiper in July at the Carleton site but no reports from =
either site in the first week of August. But we see more of them in the fie=
ld in Aug and Sep than we do in July. Presumably more will be picked up in =
the weeks to come.

Hi All,
I have posted reports to my website on the acoustic monitoring of nocturnal=
migration during the first week of August at two sites:
-The Carleton, Yarmouth County, station: http://johnfkearney.com/Carleton_Y=

-A new station at Cape Forchu, Yarmouth County: http://johnfkearney.com/Cap=
e_Forchu_Yarmouth_County_2017.html
In summary, warbler migration was considerably greater at the inland statio=
n at Carleton compared to the coastal station at Cape Forchu. There was evi=
dence of tern and shorebird migration at the Cape Forchu station. No rare b=
irds were detected at either station.
