Index of Subjects My experience with DNR is that the personnel at their emergency number very rapidly contact the relevant agencies for you. That includes the Federal oil spill agency, as I know by personal experience. It is very useful to have a single go- to number, 800-565-2224, for everything. DNR can certainly be commended for this service. Eric L. My suggestion re DNR relates to the fact you can usually get a more rapid response n (including direct referral the appropriate agency) especially after hours from most wildlife issues, especially after hours. DNR, as well as Provincial DoF and NSDOE work very closely with CWS and DFO . So maybe we should all have these numbers handy. (Rin.. that's the number I had.. but will check) Regional CWS in Sackville NB at 506-364-5013 NSDNR poaching and natural resource/wildlife incidents 1-800-565-2224 Marine Animal strandings/incidents 1-866-567-6277 NS environmental Emergencies 1 800 565-1633 Any others we should add to the list? Contact the enforcement unit (not sure of the exact current name) of the CWS in Sackville NB at 506-364-5013 ( there may be an NS number, but I was not able to find one). I'm strictly third party in this. Photos have been sent to DNR, but is this an issue for them or does it involve fisheries as well? James R. Hirtle LaHave -- Ronald G. Arsenault Halifax, Nova Scotia
