While out and about on the southern uplands south of Aylesford, I had the pleasure of hearing and seeing an Olive-sided Flycatcher and Nighthawk. These are two birds I don't see enough of. A large variety of warblers were quite vocal in the woods. Along one woods road I encountered half a dozen Juvenal's Duskywings, a Painted Lady, Many azures and a Mourning Cloak butterflies. I didn't count the blackflies but they were abundant also. I just tried to get away from them. -- Larry Bogan <larry@bogan.ca> Brooklyn Corner, Nova Scotia
