I have a recording of what I believe is a Canada Warbler. The spluttery song begins with the usual CAWA introductory note. To me it does not sound Magnolia-like at all. This was in open Red Maple forest along the old rail line adjacent to Tanner L. this afternoon. Will send it out for opinions to anyone who wishes to hear it.

We saw a tiny dead Red Bellied snake on a gravel trail in a Xmas tree lot. My brother thought it was a Red backed Salamander until he picked it up. No obvious injuries. First snake I have come across this Spring.
