Along Crescent Beach today there were two greater yellowlegs and seven will=
ets. I photographed the one willet pair getting down to business. I found=
a gray catbird at the end of the Wolfe Gut Road, Bush Island. When I got =
out of the car it was about four feet from me on the ground. By the time m=
y brain realized that it was there and what it was it had moved so that onl=
y the head was visible. An American robin had a mouthful of grass at Dubli=
n Shore.

Yesterday I was told that there had been a scarlet tanager and a rose-breas=
ted grosbeak in Dublin Shore. These birds did not reappear today.
