I=E2=80=99m on Eastlink, but was receiving multiples from Eric, Jim, and =
Donna, in decreasing order of frequency.

=20

Fingers crossed that the problem has ceased!

Subject: [NatureNS] Painted Lady plus multiple posts

Hi all

I have not been getting multiple posts from Eric if that is any help in =
solving the problem. I am on Eastlink and wonder if it might be provider =
related.=20

=20

On a more Nature-related note, I photographed a Painted Lady on =
Coltsfoot at the West end beach at Big I, Pict about noon. I was rather =
surprised to see a butterfly as the air temperature was only 3C and the =
wind out of the NE was bracing. No doubt there was a warmer micro =
environment in this protected west end.=20

=20

Some spring migrants were present in Big I area incl. Greater Yellowlegs =
(2) and American Kestrel (3) but so were winter birds such as =
Long-tailed Duck (2), Snow Bunting (5), and single Glaucous and Iceland =
Gulls. There were about 250 Scoters in the Strait off the Big I Causeway =
about 30 Blacks and 220 Surfs. The gulls were feasting on a seal carcass =
on the beach about mid Causeway which was also there last day I was =
down. =20

=20

I still have 6 American Tree Sparrows coming to my Plymouth feeder- they =
often stay into the first week of May.=20

=20

Cheers
