Perhaps a negative reply is also useful?   I’ve not been inundated at all, though have received a couple of individual posts from Eric through NatureNS fairly recently.
One guess is that the people who have been swamped are actually included in Eric’s address book that has been hacked, and that others like me are not.  
Maybe all will be revealed — please let us know.
