This afternoon at Miner's Marsh, a kingfisher and an impressive number of Tree Swallows. We watched a pair of Canada Geese mating (I'd never witnessed the preceding head-bobbing routine before). And a lone Pied-billed Grebe was calling somewhat plaintively, clearly in search of a mate. Doug Linzey
