<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head> <meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"/> </head><body style=""> <div> <p>I arrived at Sandy Cove at 8:45 this morning, where it was sunny and cool.  I sat down and watched for awhile before others came.  The Prothonotary Warbler emerged from a dense clump of spruce trees close to the beach about twenty minutes later.  It initially perched on a low branch, basking in the sun.  Soon after it came down to feed on the flies in the kelp.  There were a number of Song Sparrows and Robins there feeding as well.</p> <p>By the time I left at 9:30, eight other people had arrived and were enjoying the sight of this lovely bird.</p> <p>Patricia L.
