My mother has a freshwater spring, down by the water, at her house in New Brunswick. "The birds," are the usual ones we have seen around this time, Great Blue Herons (x2) and the Canada Geese (x many). I also caught a glimpse of the Turkey Vulture that has been seen is the Rose Bay/ Middle Lahave area. Dare I say it? Spring has sprung! -Veronica On 8 April 2017 at 21:21, John and Nhung <nhungjohn@eastlink.ca> wrote: > Saw my first of the year yesterday, flying across the northern part of > Yarmouth Harbour > > -----Original Message----- > From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca] > On Behalf Of bdigout > Sent: April 8, 2017 9:17 PM > To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca > Subject: [NatureNS] G.B.Heron in Cape Breton > > A rain-drenched Great-blue Heron appeared yesterday, April 7th in a small > amount of open water across from the marina in St. Peter's. > Today, following yesterday's heavy rain, several Juncos and Robins > appeared in my yard in French Cove, Rich.
