T= here was no wind either.<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">The scent of Mayflowers on the Portage = was like I never experienced before<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">or after. Just beautiful. A pair of Hor= ned Owls escorted me over the Portage.<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Every time something banged on the cano= e they hooted! I guess they were<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">not familiar with canoes being portaged= !<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">Latter at a Loon Count -  I saw ma= ny Indian Pipe ( Monotropa uniflora ) on the Portage.<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">I don't know if the two have some s= ort of a relationship or if it was by chance.<br/></span> </div>=20 <div> <span style=3D"font-size: 12pt;">A wonderful morning!
