I enjoyed a bracing walk around the outer edge of Point Pleasant Park in Halifax this afternoon. Birds were relatively scarce; the water was very choppy and I didn't see as many sea ducks as I expected.

However I was pleased to find six Purple Sandpipers on the ledges between the Bonaventure's anchor and the Point Pleasant Battery.
