Didn't we come across three orchids...I couldn't identify them so I took the smallest one for our herbarium at StFX. Our curator of land plants, Barry Taylor identified it as the introduced *Epipactis helleborine*, or broad-leaved helleborine. I may as well nip this intruder in the bud...I'll put the other two in our collection as well (I can also provide one to another collection if any organization wants it - lord knows you folks have sent me enough specimens over the years!).
