BTW, Anne Linton, whom many old-timers will remember, was very active in lo= cal natural history and environmental circles as a student here. Anne marr= ied another Dal student, Erick Greene, who went on to do his PhD at Princet= on, and is a prof. at U. Montana. He has done some very interesting studies= in a range of bird ecology and behaviour. Anne is also the faculty and tea= ches, inter alia, scientific writing to students. She published a marvelous= little book on that subject a couple of years ago, which has been widely p= raised.
