Index of Subjects I found the moths were very slow to get started but once into June their numbers have been normal for here. I have had more kinds of Sphinx moths than I have seen other years. All of the big moths have made their appearance and Lunas are still making an occasional visit as they have been for over a month. More frequent sightings of Lunas than in other years, I would say. The very distinct Nadata gibbosa - White-dotted Prominent http://bugguide.net/node/view/1246894 has been unusually common. I have seen one or more below the outdoor lights most every morning from mid-June through this morning . Nancy E Dalhousie, Kings Co.
