What a beautiful account of a beautiful day Paul. Thanks. I wish I was with you to get a video story to share.

Yesterday I had a treat - a doe lying peacefully under a tree not more than 20 or 30 feet from me! Her behaviour so strange to me that I thought I might witness the birth of a fawn!
Took some video over about a 5 to 10 minute interlude before she rose and slowly faded away while snatching a leaf or two off a small maple.

My grouse friend is still at his territory. We visited together again yesterday. I've been seeing him off and on for about three months now. I'm recording this strange behaviour for a future video that I shall make when it ends - god knows when.
Paul.
