Had a lovely male Rose-br. Grosbeak singing in the back yard on Sunday,
May 29, which immediately attracted a group of Purple Finch (2M and 8F),
which sat in a small willow tree higher than the Grosbeak and just
listened! The Purple Finch have been giving concerts most every
evening, so they know good music when they hear it.
Same day had our first F. Hummer back, and 9 Cedar Waxwings eating
petals in the apple tree.
