At Three Fathom Harbour, sightings of migrants passing through were: May 22 (with Pat McKay): Black-bellied Plover 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper 3 Short-billed Dowitcher 71 (seasonal high count) May 29: Black-bellied Plover 3 Short-billed Dowitcher 10 At West Chezzetcook Marsh: May 29: Black-bellied Plover 22 The unusual shorebird fallout was also seen in Cape Breton.
