Here again is Peter Payzant=92s separate note re the name of Lyme =
Disease. Everyone should remember the connection here with Roger Tory =
Peterson=92s long-term home in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Cheers from Jim =
in Wolfville.

HI, all-

Some might be interested to know that the name of the tick-born disease =
we've been hearing about is Lyme Disease, not Lyme's Disease. It's named =
after a place, not a person.

According to the Wikipedia entry, "Lyme disease was diagnosed as a =
separate condition for the first time in 1975 in Old Lyme, Connecticut =
(it was originally mistaken for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis)".

Be careful out there!

Peter Payzant
