At the French Basin Trail, I counted 36 yellow warblers around the trail. =
The only other warblers that I located were common yellowthroat, Tennessee =
Warbler, and American Redstart. There were two pairs of northern shovelers=
, eight gadwalls an 10 wood ducks. I saw a pied-billed grebe on a nest and=
a greater yellowlegs. There were also three eastern kingbirds. There wer=
e lots of other birds of course.
At the Belleisle Marsh, again two pairs of northern shovelers. I had two s=
ora rails also.
