A *Great crested Flycatcher* was calling in our yard this morning
(Kentville). A pair has nested in our neighbourhood for the past number of
years (first reported in 2012 by Devin Johnstone on Chester Ave.)

eBird checklist: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S29750950

Last season it/they ranged widely, but predictably, throughout our
neighbourhood and nested in a box one street away. We built a box for them
in our yard this year and just uncovered the entrance two days ago. I will
report on whether it sticks around in case others want to try for it...

The apparent first NB report this year was May 15th, Fredericton. Not
Machias or Grand Manan?

James
