Th= e birds seemed to funnel in through the inlet at the far end of the beach a= nd alight on the banks of the inlet. The winds were strong from the NE. Th= ere were no shorebirds on the flats. Although there have been several speci= es already present many of the new arrivals are normally not seen on this b= each at this time of year.
