Index of Subjects Hi Bev and all: They are plentiful at Ragged Harbour. I found three on my pants after a visit there and another that was crawling up my leg that evening. Today there was one on the windshield on the inside of my car that I would imagine was picked up on that outing. James R. I just arrived back at my place in Round Hill a week ago Monday. So far, I have only found one tick on myself and one on one of my dogs. Yesterday, I spent about 4 hours clearing brush, rose and berry canes to make a new path down to the river. The dogs were both with me while I worked on the hillside. Normally, all of us probably would have been loaded with ticks by the end of the afternoon, but so far, I have not found any (knock on wood). Is anyone else finding the same paucity of ticks? By the way, last summer, after a few ticks found on the dogs and myself in April and May, I did not find any more ticks on us during the rest of the season. This was very different than previous years when I was finding them even into the autumn. Bev Wigney Round Hill, NS
