Hello all, I've received some feedback off list from a few who are interested in the idea of forming a naturalist outing group. A couple of you are some distance from Annapolis Royal, but expressed interest regardless. I've since been thinking that maybe the group should include anyone from all parts of the valley (or beyond) who would like to be included. There isn't really any reason why the group has to be solely based in Annapolis Royal, but could include other parts of the valley. The main thing is to form an email group so that members can easily notify each other when they want to do a hike somewhere and would like the company of other naturalists - sometimes on a spur-of-the-moment basis. Anyhow, as Donna Crossland commented yesterday, "Let's move this along. Spring is already upon us!" So, consider this a second call for those who want to be included in an email group for people interested in going on nature walks in the Annapolis Valley region. After reading Donna's email, I am guessing that our first walk may just be in the Tupperville area! I'd certainly like to go for a walk based in that area, so let's get going with this idea. If you want to be put on the email list, try to let me know by sometime tomorrow (Saturday), and I'll include you in the email group.
