Some have red tail tips??? From: <naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca> on behalf of James Hirtle <jrhbirder@hotmail.com> Reply-To: <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca> Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:20 PM To: Naturens Naturens <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca> Subject: [NatureNS] Puzzlement I had a bird reported to me this evening that I just can't seem to figure out. The bird was coming to a feeder and was somewhat larger than a sparrow. The back and head is blue-gray, the chest bright yellow and when the bird fans the tail there is red in it. Typing this gave me the idea of a juvenile male Baltimore oriole, so this was helpful in kickstarting my brain. Anyhow, are there thoughts as to other possibilities. James R.
