"We are piloting a National Common Nighthawk survey protocol this summer. It is a 2 h survey of BBS [Breeding Bird Survey] routes (we only do every other stop =E2=80=93 for 12 stops, starting at stop #1) starting 30 minutes= before sunset. It=E2=80=99s a 6 minute quiet listening survey for each stop betwee= n June 15 and July 15 (one visit per route)."
