Hello all=2C
=20
Some of you know that we had a Great Blue Heron in Aylesford on the Kingsto=
n XBC on Dec. 21=2C and that it was seen again as recently as early January=
at the Annapolis River bridge on Victoria Rd. by Twila Robar-DeCoste. It =
was seen at various points between route 221 and there=2C and this a.m. I w=
as surprised to get a call from Jason MacInnis that it had just re-appeared=
at the section of Graves Brook near his house along Victoria Rd. north of =
Highway 101. I'm not sure if it is still considered rare in winter in the =
more tropical parts of the province=2C but here in the heart of the Valley =
I am amazed that one is still able to find enough to eat to allow it to sur=
vive!
