Bernard Forsythe saw a mid-size Shorebird today that he was not able to ID, despite reasonably good views. From his description to me, as I understood it, I would be thinking Ruff with a lesser possibility of Red Knot. I made a quick trip down with 30 minutes of adequate daylight for good viewing. I did not see it. It forages partly on the shore and partly up in the grass with the ducks. So it may have walked over the dyke into the rear lagoon. Regards, Rick Whitman
