A few years ago between Christmas and New Years, we looked out on a pair of
eastern bluebirds. David Patriquin has been
reporting red-bellied woodpeckers, a Carolinian species moving north, in
HRM.
So May's report and the impact of warming and storm disruption of bird
patterns, and observations of the phenomena are hard to separate. How
should we separate these?
