This small birdlet is off course and alone. I am saddened by its forthcoming fate unless by some miracle it can make it to the mainland and find a southerly course. The Blue-grey Gnatcatcher is a tough little bird. I recall it as one of the first returning migrants on the northward migration in Southern Ontario. There is evidence that it has(is) nested in New Brunswick. http://www.hanstoom.com/blog/2015/12/blue-grey-gnatcatcher -- Hans Toom http://www.hanstoom.com http://www.hanstoom.com/blog https://www.facebook.com/hans.toom --------------090800070309020209090301 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> </head> <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <br> <div class="moz-forward-container"><br> <br> -------- Forwarded Message -------- <table class="moz-email-headers-table" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"> <tbody> <tr> <th nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE" align="RIGHT">Subject: </th> <td>Blue-grey Gnatcatcher</td> </tr> <tr> <th nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE" align="RIGHT">Date: </th> <td>Tue, 8 Dec 2015 11:03:24 -0400</td> </tr> <tr> <th nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE" align="RIGHT">From: </th> <td>Hans <htoom@hfx.eastlink.ca></td> </tr> <tr> <th nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE" align="RIGHT">To: </th> <td>NS-RBA@yahoogroups.com</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <br> <br> <pre>On the morning of December 7 on my hike to Duncan Reef I first heard and then saw and photographed a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher.
