We released our last Monarch from our rearing program over a week ago and I have been in the process of mowing the milkweed field. During the process I scared up one 'wild' Monarch. Today, we had another healthy looking Monarch in our flowers. Overnight our low temperature dipped to -1 C and I was surprised (and delighted) to see this butterfly.
