Hi, I went birding today (August 30th) at the Herbert River Trail in Hants County. I was surprised to hear an Eastern Wood Peewee singing it’s “Puree” song. The bird sang persistently high in the trees. Is it unusual to hear an Eastern Wood Peewee singing on August 30th? I’m confident I wasn’t hearing a Yellow-bellied Flycathcher’s “Turee” song.
