He though initially that it was a = grackle, but then had a good look at it and noted extensive white on the = underparts. He also heard calls. He has watched for it since, but not = seen it again. Coincidentally, his son reported seeing one in Windsor last week, as = well. Jon wondered whether the extensive fires in the west were perhaps moving = some western birds our way. Cheers, Susann Myers ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01D0DAB4.B21C9350 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.23588"></HEAD> <BODY style=3D"PADDING-LEFT: 10px; PADDING-RIGHT: 10px; PADDING-TOP: = 15px"=20 id=3DMailContainerBody leftMargin=3D0 topMargin=3D0 = CanvasTabStop=3D"true"=20 name=3D"Compose message area"> <DIV><FONT face=3DCalibri>Sorry, folks, that should have been Northbrook = Park in=20 Dartmouth.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DCalibri></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DCalibri>cheers,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DCalibri>Susann</FONT></DIV> <DIV style=3D"FONT: 10pt Tahoma"> <DIV><BR></DIV> <DIV style=3D"BACKGROUND: #f5f5f5"> <DIV style=3D"font-color: black"><B>From:</B> <A = title=3Dmyerss@eastlink.ca=20 href=3D"mailto:myerss@eastlink.ca">Susann Myers</A> </DIV> <DIV><B>Sent:</B> Wednesday, August 19, 2015 5:41 PM</DIV> <DIV><B>To:</B> <A title=3Dnaturens@chebucto.ns.ca=20 href=3D"mailto:naturens@chebucto.ns.ca">naturens@chebucto.ns.ca</A> ; <A = title=3Dns-rba@yahoogroups.com=20 href=3D"mailto:Ns-Rba@Yahoogroups.Com">Ns-Rba@Yahoogroups.Com</A> </DIV> <DIV><B>Subject:</B> [NatureNS] Magpies reported in Dartmouth &=20 Windsor</DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV><BR></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DCalibri>A colleague at work, Jon Stone, mentioned = today that he=20 had seen a magpie, presumably a Black-billed Magpie, at Northwood = Park=20 in Dartmouth, on Sunday evening.
