Yesterday I headed out to Hartlen Pt to see what was around. At
McCormick's Beach there were about 40 Common Terns resting.

I walked along the road from the golf club entrance and was soon onto
the path to Back Cove. It was very overgrown and looks as if it hasn't
had many travellers on it. The only prints I could see in the mud were
from deer. Part way along there was a little flurry of chickadees and
warblers (Black and White, Yellow, Common Yellowthroat, and American
Redstart). There was nothing at Back Cove and I took the easy way back
along fairway 9, exhausted.

Today I checked out Sandy Cove and again ran into one group of
chickadees and warblers. Most of the warblers were Common
Yellowthroats. There was one Chestnut-sided Warbler.
