And a great day it was! </div> <div> Stripers were not very plentiful - 3 in all but that's fishing. </div> <div> Sturgeon made up for them. 10 - 12 in all  between 1 m and 2 m in length. </div> <div> A 2 m sturgeon is an impressive fish. I always wondered when I saw them jump </div> <div> if they were really sturgeon - now I know for sure. Very interesting. </div> <div> There was a lot of smaller fish, Shad, Gaspereaux, Herring, Mackerel, Tommy Cods </div> <div> Smelts and silversides. On the flat side there was Flounders and Skates. </div> <div> Small squid were plentiful, about the size of my finger or a little bigger with big eyes. </div> <div> I was told there was quite a few big ones earlier but none just now. </div> <div> For birds there was a good flock of gulls, Eagles and Herons. I didn't review </div> <div> the birds for species. They were waiting til we left then the feast would start! </div> <div> A fun day - a real adventure. </div> <div> Get out and enjoy the summer </div> <div> Paul </div> </body></html>
